Originating from the traditional East Asian “kongzhu,” the diabolo was introduced to Europe in the late 18th century, with the first recorded public competition held in France in 1907. In the 21st century, Asia has become the epicenter of diabolo innovation, with Taiwan taking the lead in developing structured competitions such as the PEH CUP(體健盃) International Acrobatics Festival, MOYOSTAGE, and the Asia Diabolo Championship launched in 2013. Countries like Japan and Malaysia have also hosted numerous large-scale international events, fostering cross-border exchange and unifying judging standards.In 2025, the first World Diabolo Contest will officially launch, co-initiated by Taiwan’s W.H.O. Theatre and the Japan Diabolo Association. This landmark event brings together years of community-driven growth in Asia to establish an open, fair, and international competitive platform—where top diabolo players from around the globe can gather, showcase their creativity and skills, and usher in a new chapter in the history of diabolo.扯鈴起源於東亞傳統空竹，18世紀末傳入歐洲，並於1907年在法國舉辦首場公開比賽。進入21世紀，亞洲成為技術創新的核心地區，台灣率先發展系統化賽事，如體健盃、MOYOSTAGE，以及2013年啟動的亞洲盃扯鈴錦標賽。日本、馬來西亞等地亦舉辦多場具國際規模的賽事，促進跨國交流與評分標準一致。2025年，由台灣虎劇團與日本扯鈴協會共同發起，首屆世界扯鈴大賽正式啟動，結合多年來亞洲社群推廣成果，建立公開、公平、國際化的競技平台，讓全球選手齊聚一堂，展現創意與實力，開啟扯鈴發展的新篇章。

2025 世界扯鈴大賽（WDC）選手須知與比賽規則公告
📌 比賽規則與注意事項
1.本賽事不限制扯鈴種類或品牌，參賽者可自備器材。
2.可攜帶多顆鈴進場，數量不限，但需在比賽開始前自行準備妥當。
3.比賽中應遵守裁判規則，若對成績或裁判公平性有疑義，請依程序提出申訴。
4.嚴禁以扯鈴攻擊他人或物品，違者立即取消參賽資格。
5.比賽中飛出場外之扯鈴，大會不負保管責任，請參賽者於賽前安排友人協助撿鈴。
6.可自由更換扯鈴，但不得由第二人協助解繩或整理器材。
7.選手須於大會指定時間地點完成報到；無故遲到、消失或違反規範者，主辦單位保留取消參賽資格之權利。
8.1D 2D 3D 分成定軸組跟培鈴組 其他組別不分扯鈴類別
9.VD組只能使用單鈴🕐 賽前須知1. 請於賽前上傳音樂檔案，未提供者將使用比賽指定音樂。
2.比賽期間不得使用對他人造成風險的危險動作，違者取消資格。

1. 音樂播放即開始計時；音樂之外的動作不計分，錯誤仍計失誤扣分。
2.選手須於音樂開始後方可開始轉動扯鈴
3.音樂須於賽前繳交，並不得包含不當內容（猥褻、暴力、歧視等），違者取消資格。
4.嚴禁危險動作與他人協助，舞台上不得有第二人員出現。🧠 評分方式

2. 徵選影片需強調以下重點：
- 技巧難度
- 動作原創性
- 整體表演性
3. 影片長度建議為 30 秒至 1 分鐘，並於指定期限內上傳。
4. 徵選由 WDC 指定裁判進行評選，最終入選名單將於網站公布。
5. 現場 Battle 採 淘汰賽形式，每場對決由裁判直接決定勝者晉級。🔥表演藝術組賽制
1. 可以以個人或團隊為單位報名，並採取影片徵選的方式

如需要使用應事先與賽務組通知，道具設置時間不得超過三分鐘
6. 硬體設備以比賽現場硬體為主，賽前會通知入圍者本次比賽設置的硬體設備清單，
包含燈光音響設備，如參賽者另須自行增加設備，請事先與賽務組通知聯繫。
7. 表演內容不得基於種族，膚色，宗教（信仰）、性別、性別表達、性取向、殘疾、
年齡等因素而取笑、侮辱、傷害或歧視，將會被主辦單位取消參賽資格。
8. 所有使用的音樂必須確保適合於公開場合播放，參賽者若使用不當音樂（歌詞內包含猥褻、種族歧視、暴力成分等），將會被主辦單位取消參賽資格。
2025 World Diabolo Contest (WDC)
Player Guidelines & Competition Rules📌 General Rules & Reminders1. There are no restrictions on diabolo type or brand.
2. You may bring any number of diabolos on stage, but all must be prepared before your performance begins.
3. Participants must follow judges’ rules. For concerns, use the official appeal process.
4. It is strictly prohibited to use diabolos to hit/harm others. Violators will be disqualified.
5. Diabolos that fly offstage are the player's responsibility.
6. You may switch diabolos freely, but no outside assistance is allowed.
7. Players must check in on time. Late or absent participants may be disqualified.
8.In divisions 1D, 2D, and 3D, players will be categorized into two groups based on the diabolo type: Fixed Axle Division & Bearing Axle DivisionFor all other divisions (including 4D, VD,MAD , WAD, etc.), there will be no separation based on diabolo type.
9.VD division, only single diabolos are allowed.

🔥1 vs 1 Battle Format🔥1. This category will select 8 players through video auditions to compete in live on-stage battles.
2. Submitted videos will be judged based on:
- Technical difficulty
- Originality
- Performance quality
3. Recommended video length: 30 seconds to 1 minute. All submissions must be received before the announced deadline.
4. Judges appointed by the WDC will review all entries and announce the 8 selected participants on the official website.
5. The on-site battle will be held in a single-elimination format. Judges will decide the winner of each round directly.------------------------------🔥Performance Art Division🔥
1. Registration is individuals, and participants must submit a video audition.2. The maximum performance time is 6 minutes, and performers may freely choose the duration within this limit.3.
